A New Segment: Meliora Interviews Tamarack!
06/29/2009 10:02 AM by Ynari.

Welcome to the first installment of a new series as Meliora sits down with members of Tamarack. Missed one? They'll be added to the Guild Pages files as well as appearing here.

Staying together with friends and blowing enemies apart, I sit down with Spindle.

Mel: Thank you Mr. Spindle for joining me today.
Mel: Are You Now or Have You Ever Been Associated with the Burning Legion or other subversive groups?
Mel: Whoops, wrong questionnaire, I'll just put that...over here....

Spindle: Nope, but I do like to burn the legion if that counts. (smile)

Mel: *grins* What is the first real adventure you can remember going on?

Spindle: Well, if I recall correctly, my first adventure really came to me... I was living in Gnomergan at the time of the Trogg invasion. It was unpleasant.

Mel: Oh my, how did you escape?

Spindle: I burned anything between me and the nearest exit. Combined with a plethora of Mechanical Decoys, Explosive sheep and my handy Cloaking Device, I was able to escape.

Mel: Exciting stuff, What drew you to Tamarack?

Spindle: Actually, it was Ausmandrea. She and I have known each other for quite a while. I was in search of a new home, after the vast majority or my previous guild, er, retired. It was a very Similar environment, people working
together in everyone's interests and Aus painted me a picture of a new home, where again, we all work together.

Mel: And has it lived up to that picture?

Spindle: Oh my, yes. Tamarack has been a great place, I'm made many good friends and there are a lot of people here who will drop everything if you're in need of help.

Mel: (Smiles) you've been almost everywhere, what is your favorite land to visit?

Spindle: I have to say, that right now, I'm rather enjoying the Sholazar Basin. It's dangerous, but there are many interesting artifacts to explore.

Mel: Interesting, I'll have to visit there myself some day.

Mel: You're a renown engineer, have you ever had one of your creations... malfunction?

Spindle: Of course, with cutting-edge technology, there are always risks... there's a pile of bones outside Gadgetzan attesting to the inherent instabilities of transporters, but nothing er... “really” serious.
Spindle: I mean, of course I've experienced some Jumper Cable feedback, but who hasn't?

Mel: (Shifts in her chair) Um.. next topic, what is the hardest challenge you've faced so far?

Spindle: That's an interesting question... the single most challenging opponent I've personally overcome is one of the Vyrkul overseers in Icecrown... but I don't don't think that's my greatest challenge.
Spindle: Of Course, I've been part of Tamarack raids for defeating Karazhan and the Prince, and I'm looking forward to future advancements for the guild.

Mel: (smiles) have you ever thought about giving up all this fighting and retiring somewhere quite?

Spindle: Id' be lying if I said it hadn't crossed my mind, but that time is far off in the future. There are a couple of places that I'm looking at for that eventual retirement... someday when I'm old and Grey. Or Bald.

Mel: (chuckles) Well I'm sure we are all happy to have you fighting for us right now. Thank you for your time.
